Geotechnical, Environmental, Heli-Portable and Coring drill units

Tundra Environmental & Geotechnical drilling has added a Mobile B-53 mounted on bombardier go-track 2000 carrier, this is a multipurpose rotary, odex, coring and solid/hollow stem auger with all geotech testing capabilities.

CME 850 mounted on cme carrier same as previous except a higher torque machine with angle hole capability.

A Deidrich 25 heli-portable track mounted capable of environmental, geotechnical, odex, coring and rotary drilling/soil sampling

Our 2nd heli-portable unit has 8,000 lb rotary torque and 45,000 lb pull back force; this unit is able to drill to 15 meters with 4" augers, depending on soil conditions. Each lift less than 1135 kg (2500 lbs) and will rig up and down without helicopter assistance, it comes with a levelling blade as well.

And the 3rd heli-portable unit is a direct push unit.

Tundra Environmental, Geotechnical Drilling & Coring Services began its operations in 2000, providing drilling services from its base in Donalda, Alberta.

Since then, Tundra has grown from operating one auger rig to 22 rigs. Current capabilities are: solid/hollow stem auger, air-mud-water rotary, coring, heli-portable and direct push with our 8040 and 7822 Geoprobe. Tundra operates out of Stettler in a 12,000 sq ft facility, keeping the highest possible service level and minimizing any interruptions.

Whether providing environmental auger drilling in Fort Saint John, BC; air rotary in Edson, Alberta; resource coring in the oilsands, or direct push in Weyburn, Saskatchewan, it is by finding the solutions which address our client's needs that Tundra can create safe, efficient and successful completion of projects.
